What makes African cuisine so unique and special ? It has to be the fact that Africa as a continent is comprised of many different cultures. During colonization an influx of cultures collided. Africa is like a mixing pot of simmering flavours. The Portuguese influenced seafood dishes immensely. As soon as the Portuguese set foot upon the shores of Southern Africa an infusion of flavours mixed.The deep orange colour and tantalizing fragrance makes one recognize an Afro infused Portuguese dish.
